Transcript and Letter of Recommendation Requests

TRANSCRIPTS
 
Transcripts can be requested by current AVHS students in the AVHS main office.  Students who have graduated need to order transcripts through PUSD Student Services located at 215 Abbie Street, Pleasanton (925-426-4290).  
 
  • AVHS students currently in grades 9-11 use REQUEST FOR TRANSCRIPTS half sheet to order transcripts.

All electronically processed transcripts for current AVHS students are free of charge whether official or unofficial. If you request a transcript to be mailed, please provide an envelope with postage along with your completed request form. A $1 fee will be collected if you prefer not to provide an addressed envelope with postage. Once the request form has been completed and a stamped envelope is provided to the Activities Desk, it is brought to the Registrar, Mrs. Pipe for processing.  The turn around time for transcript processing is 1-2 business days.  
 
Note:  As transcripts are generated by semester grades, Freshmen (9th grade) students do not have anything on their transcript until after their first semester of school.  
 
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION REQUESTS:
 
If any schools/programs require a letter of recommendation from the counselor, consult with your counselor well before (at least 2 school weeks at a minimum) a letter of recommendation deadline!  This information is requested so that staff members who will be writing letters of recommendation for students will be able to do so in the most complete way. Please make sure to give the evaluating teacher or counselor at least 2 weeks notice before the recommendation is due to arrive at its destination.
