Update on PSAT/NMSQT Practice Test

We are pleased to provide an update on offering the College Board PSAT/NMSQT this January.  The PSAT is an optional practice test for the SAT, as well as the qualifying test for National Merit.  Students applying to community college do not need to take the PSAT, and 4-year colleges do not consider PSAT results.
Sign-ups will be available to juniors only through www.TotalRegistration.net/PSAT/052495 from Monday, November 2, 2020, through Monday, November 16, 2020.

Pending health conditions and staffing to supervise the test, we plan to tentatively offer the PSAT/NMSQT to interested juniors only on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.    The testing fee will be $48 this year, which is a price increase necessary to cover the increased costs associated with providing the test in a socially distanced environment.  Please note that no registrations will be available after Monday, November 16, 2020, and that there is a possibility that the test will be cancelled due to health conditions or staffing restrictions.  We plan to notify families by December 4 of our status as a test site for the PSAT and will make every effort to give a partial refund if we are not able to offer the test (please note that some registration and ordering costs are non-refundable).

More information on PSAT/NMSQT is available at collegeboard.org, as well as a practice guide.
