Instructional Material Pick-up Update

The final day for make up book distribution for the second semester will be Wednesday, 1/20, on the AV campus from 11am - 12pm and from 1-3pm. If you are not able to make these times, please access the Textbook Request form by clicking "Read Full Story" below.

Distribution of instructional materials for the second semester will occur next week, from 1/11-1/15. Students must sign up for a time to come to campus to pick up whatever materials they may need for their classes during the second semester.

AVHS 2020-21 School Site Council

School Site Council Meeting Dates 2020-2021
This year, the monthly SSC meetings will be on the 3rd Wednesday of the month,
3:15pm to 4:15pm, via video conferencing until further notice

Wednesday ACCESS Advisory Adjustment

Please take a moment to take note of an important change in our bell schedule on Wednesdays beginning September 2nd.

There has been a slight shift in the Wednesday schedules for students given the increased need to provide our teachers with professional development and collaboration. At a Special Board meeting held on August 19, 2020, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Pleasanton Teachers was approved which establishes mandatory professional development and collaboration every Wednesday from 8:30am - 9:30am. Therefore, the time for the Advisory check-In (ACCESS Period) for students in grades 6-12 will now occur from 9:45am - 10:30am on Wednesdays.

AVHS 2020-21 Student Pictures and ID Card Information

On Tuesday, October 27 (1 - 7 PM), Wednesday, October 28 (11 AM - 5 PM), and Thursday 29, 2020 (1 - 6 PM) we will be holding a socially distanced event to take yearbook/ID photos (9-11th graders and new-to-Amador Seniors). Specific time slots for students are listed on the linked document. No photos will need to be taken for Seniors who attended Amador last year, as we will use last year’s photo for ID cards.
