Parking Permits

Parking in the AVHS parking lot is by permit only.  Initially permits will be available for purchase by Seniors only.  After the Seniors’ purchasing opportunity has closed, if any permits remain, they will be made available to Juniors for purchase.  In order to obtain a permit, students will need to pay the permit fee of $60.00 (online on the Webstore or in the office with cash, check, or credit card), download and complete the contract, and bring the Webstore receipt (if purchased online), the completed contract, and their valid California Driver’s License to the Student Activities office on the designated distribution day.  When claiming the permit, students will have the opportunity to select either the Del Valle parking lot or the Santa Rita parking lot, but not a specific parking space.  First semester permits will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis for Seniors and Juniors.

 

Second semester permits will be sold to Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores pending spaces available. See sale and distribution timelines below.

Students with a valid CA Driver's License submit completed contract to Activities between Wed. Jan. 9 @8:00am Thu. Jan. 10 @8:45am.

 

Contracts will NOT be processed on a first-come first-served basis. Contracts will only be accepted from the licensed student seeking a permit. Students may only submit contracts before school, at brunch, lunch, or after school.

 

NOTE: If the number of applicants exceeds the supply of permits, a random drawing will be conducted on Thu. Jan. 10. Students will be notified to bring payment and collect the permit on Fri. Jan. 11 and begin parking in their assigned space as of that date.

During the first week of school, students may park in any open space (not marked STAFF). Beginning August 20, valid 2018-19 parking permits must be displayed and parking will be enforced.
